John A. Ashby is an
attorney in private practice in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Ashby's
practice includes personnel law, labor and employment law and
litigation, and human resources consulting. Mr. Ashby received a B.A.
in English from the University of Illinois in 1976 and his J.D. from
the University of Southern California Law Center in 1984. He has
practiced employment and personnel law in Los Angeles for over
twenty-five years, with a focus on wrongful termination, discrimination
and harassment litigation in state and federal courts. He also has
extensive experience in California and Federal Wage/Hour law, vacation
pay, trade secrets, non-compete agreements, severance packages,
personnel manuals, employment contracts and government wage/hour audits.
